Sometimes things don’t go as planned – people change their minds, relationships go in unexpected directions, even the weather might turn foul on a day we hoped would be sunny. When we’re taken by surprise it can be a shock to the system; however, if we look back on the road we’ve traveled we’ll see the many times we’ve had disappointments and the many ways we’ve overcome them. Then, as we look forward to the paths ahead, we’ll find that life is full of opportunities if we look for them. Stopping to mope or fight the facts just gets us stuck if we stay there too long.
